Terms
The terms of using Norvi.
These are the terms between Norvi and the business that signs up. They are short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to info@heynorvi.com.
Version 1. Last updated: October 20, 2026.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between Robbie Garcia, who runs Norvi as a sole proprietor ("Norvi", "we"), at 1502 Park Hill Ct, Fallston, MD 21047, and the business that signs up ("you"). You agree to them when you tick the box at sign-up. You must be 18 or older, and signing up for a business, not for personal use.
What Norvi does
Norvi answers your business phone with an AI assistant. It answers questions from the facts you give it, books, moves and cancels appointments in your calendar, takes messages and emails them to you, and hands a call to you when it should not handle it alone. It is not a person, and it is set up never to say it is one. It does not send texts.
Not an emergency service
Norvi is not an emergency service. It is set up to tell a caller with an emergency to hang up and call 911, but it can miss one. Never use it as a way for people to reach help.
What you do
Give us accurate facts about your business: hours, services, prices and policies. Keep your calendar current, because the receptionist only offers times your calendar shows as free. Tell us when something changes. Keep your sign-in private.
Use Norvi only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to mislead callers or to take emergency calls.
Calls and transcripts
Every call starts by saying the caller is talking to your assistant and that the call is transcribed. We keep a written transcript and summary, not audio. You agree to this for your business and for the calls it receives, and you will not tell callers otherwise. How we handle what callers say is on our privacy page.
Plans and renewal
Plans, prices and minutes are on the pricing page. You pay each month, or each year if you choose yearly, and a yearly plan charges the whole year at once. Your plan renews by itself at the end of each month or year until you cancel. There is no contract.
Every answered call counts toward your minutes, spam calls too. Minutes past your plan are charged by the second at your plan's rate, rounded up to the next second. Extra numbers past what your plan includes cost what the pricing page says. A change of plan takes effect on your next bill.
If we change a price, we email you at least 30 days before, and the new price starts at your next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by writing to info@heynorvi.com. Once paid plans start, you can also cancel in your dashboard, with no call or email needed. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. We do not refund part of a month or a year.
When you cancel, we disconnect your calendar the day the service ends and delete your information 30 days later, as the privacy page explains.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, you have 14 days to fix it. After that, your calls are forwarded straight to your own phone, so no caller reaches a dead line, until you pay or cancel.
Free pilots
If we give you Norvi free for a set time as a pilot, these terms apply all the same. We tell you in writing when the free time ends, and nothing is charged unless you then choose a plan. We may ask what you think of it. Answering is up to you, and we may use what you tell us to make Norvi better.
Phone numbers
A number we create for you stays ours, and we do not move it to another phone company. If you may leave one day, give callers a number you own and forward it to Norvi instead. If you forward your own number to Norvi, you can turn the forwarding off with your phone company at any time. When you cancel, calls to a number we gave you are forwarded to your phone for 30 days before the number is released.
Mistakes
The assistant can get things wrong. It can mishear a name, take a message down wrongly, or book a time that no longer works. We work to keep that rare, and we fix problems you tell us about. We cannot promise it will answer every call or book every appointment. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost bookings, lost business, lost profits or other indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $100, whichever is more.
Pausing or ending the service
We may pause or end an account that breaks these terms or puts callers at risk. We tell you why when we can. You may stop at any time.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you before the change takes effect. Using Norvi after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Maryland, where Norvi is run. Questions about them go to info@heynorvi.com.
