About

Nobody can do the job and answer the phone at the same time.

Norvi is the answer to that, and only that. It is not a chatbot, not a call centre, and not a phone system you have to learn.

Small businesses that live on appointments lose real money to calls they never hear. Not because the business is bad, but because the owner was under a sink, in someone's mouth, or halfway through a haircut. The caller does not leave a message. They ring the next name on the list.

What it actually does

Norvi answers your phone in a natural voice, on the first ring, at any hour. It listens to what the caller wants in their own words. It reads your real calendar before it offers anything, so it can only offer times that are genuinely free. It books the appointment while the caller is still on the line. And when something comes up that it should not handle on its own, it stops and passes the call to you.

What it will not do

It will not pretend to be a person. If a caller asks, it says it is an assistant. It will not guess at something it is unsure of, because a wrong booking costs you more than a missed one. It will not put anyone on hold, and it will not read out a menu of options.

You do not need a special phone line

Plenty of small businesses run on a mobile, or on a number they have had for fifteen years and will not give up. Norvi works either way. Forward your existing number to it, or have Norvi create a brand new local number for you in the area code you choose. Both take a few minutes and neither requires anything from your phone company.

Who builds it

Norvi is built and run by one person, which is the reason the pricing page has no "contact sales" button on it and the plans do not hide calendar booking behind a higher tier. There is nobody here whose job is to move you up a plan.

It also means the person who answers your email is the person who wrote the thing. If a receptionist gets something wrong for your business, say so and it gets fixed, rather than becoming a ticket.

Put it on your line and see.

Set up takes a few minutes. You pick your category, connect a calendar, and choose a number.
